DeLOCK 82574 FireWire A/A Cable 2.0m Grey

The DeLOCK FireWire A/A Cable (82574) is a 2.0 m grey cable with male-to-male 6-pin FireWire connectors designed to link FireWire-enabled devices such as camcorders and external enclosures to a computer's 6-pin FireWire port. It provides a straightforward physical connection for high-speed IEEE 1394 data transfer between compatible devices.

Advantages

This 2.0 m FireWire cable offers a durable male/male 6-pin connection that supports reliable, low-latency data transmission between FireWire devices. The neutral grey colour and standard A/A connector design make it compatible with a range of camcorders, external enclosures and other devices equipped with 6-pin FireWire ports, while the length provides flexible positioning.

Suitable for

• Connecting camcorders to a computer with a 6-pin FireWire port
• Linking external FireWire enclosures or drives to a PC
• Transferring large media files between compatible devices

Ensure both devices are powered on and recognised by the operating system. Use the cable to transfer data or stream media according to the device instructions and host software.

Recommendations

Use the cable for direct device-to-computer connections only; avoid forcing connectors into ports. If transfer speed or device recognition issues occur, check device drivers and port functionality before replacing the cable.
