DeLOCK 85557 USB cable USB 2.0 2 m black

The DeLOCK 85557 USB cable is a 2 m black USB 2.0 cable with USB A connectors on both ends. It supports data transfer rates up to 0.48 Gbit/s and features gold-plated contacts for reliable connectivity and improved durability. The reversible EASY-USB male design allows the plug to be inserted in either orientation into a USB-A female port, simplifying connection and reducing wear from repeated attempts.

Advantages

The reversible EASY-USB male connector enables insertion in both directions, making plugging in faster and reducing the risk of bent pins. Gold-plated contacts enhance contact reliability and resist corrosion. The 2 m cable length provides flexibility for connecting devices across a workspace while USB 2.0 compatibility ensures broad device support.

Suitable for

• Connecting peripherals such as keyboards, mice and printers to computers
• Data transfer between devices that support USB 2.0
• Charging and syncing compatible devices where USB A to USB A is required

How to use

Connect one USB A end of the cable to the USB-A female port of the host device and the other USB A end to the peripheral or target device. Because of the EASY-USB reversible male design, orient the plug as convenient; it can be inserted in either direction. Ensure both devices are powered on and recognised by the operating system before transferring data.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid sharp bends and heavy tension on the cable. Keep connectors clean and insert them straight into ports to minimise wear. Use this cable for USB 2.0-compatible devices; for higher transfer rates consider a USB 3.x cable.
