DICOTA D31717 Cable Lock Black 2 m

The DICOTA D31717 Black 2 m cable lock secures laptops and other portable devices with a 2 m long, 4.4 mm thick PVC-coated steel cable and a preset combination lock. It includes an exchangeable head that fits anti-theft T-Lock (T-Bar), Wedge and Nano slots, and is part of a master-key-style system: each lock is laser-engraved with a unique number that corresponds to a fixed preset combination programmed before shipment.

Advantages

The exchangeable head provides compatibility with multiple slot types, reducing the need to carry different locks. The PVC-coated cable offers abrasion resistance and protects device surfaces. The preset combination allows immediate use without setting a new code, and the unique laser-engraving links each physical lock to its fixed combination for system administration and user access control.

Suitable for

• Securing laptops and notebooks with T-Lock (T-Bar), Wedge or Nano security slots
• Protecting tablets, small POS devices or portable equipment with compatible slots
• Use in offices, education or retail environments where multiple device types are in use

To remove, enter the same preset combination to release the head and detach the cable from the device and anchor point.

Recommendations

Keep the user manual that contains the preset combination in a safe place; the preset code is fixed and cannot be changed. For maximum security, attach the cable to a solid, immovable object and regularly inspect the cable and head for wear or damage.
