DIGITUS DN-96432-4 Patch Panel, 19 inch, 1U, 24× LC Duplex OM4, Grey

The DIGITUS DN-96432-4 19" 1U patch panel is a rack-mounted fiber optic termination unit with 24 LC duplex ports designed for OM4 multimode fiber. Finished in grey, this panel provides front-access connections for high-density installations, allowing organized routing and consolidation of multimode fiber links in racks, data centers and telecom rooms. Its 1U form factor fits standard 19" cabinets and supports fast access to patching points for maintenance and reconfiguration.

Advantages

This patch panel offers a compact 1U footprint while accommodating 24 LC duplex connectors, reducing rack space usage. Front-access ports simplify cable management and maintenance, and the OM4 multimode compatibility supports higher bandwidth and improved modal performance for short-range links. The standardized 19" mounting and robust housing provide mechanical stability and consistent alignment for fiber connections.

Suitable for

• High-density multimode fiber patching in data centers and server rooms
• Telecom rooms and wiring closets requiring front-access termination
• Campus networks or enterprise LANs using OM4 multimode links
• Rack deployments where 1U space efficiency is required

Key specifications

• Form factor: 19" rack-mounted, 1U height
• Connector type: 24 × LC duplex ports (front access)
• Fiber type supported: OM4 multimode
• Color/finish: grey
• Density: high-density 24 duplex connections in 1U
• Access: front-facing patching for easy cable routing and serviceability

How to use

Install the panel into a standard 19" rack using the provided mounting holes and secure it at the desired 1U position. Route multimode fiber trunk cables to the rear of the panel and terminate them onto compatible LC duplex connectors or use pre-terminated pigtails as applicable. Make connections at the front LC ports with matching LC duplex patch cords, ensuring correct polarity and gentle bend radii. Label ports where required for identification and configure your network equipment accordingly.

Recommendations

Maintain recommended bend radius for OM4 multimode fiber and avoid excessive pulling force during installation. Use dust caps on unused LC ports and perform inspection/cleaning of connector end-faces before mating to ensure optimal optical performance. Keep documentation of port mapping to simplify future changes and troubleshooting.
