DisplayPort cable Kramer Electronics C-DP 1.8m

The Kramer Electronics C-DP 1.8m is a high-resolution DisplayPort cable designed for transmitting video and audio between DisplayPort-equipped devices. It supports DisplayPort 1.2 with HBR2 bandwidth, enabling up to 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) video. The cable is triple shielded and comes in a 1.8 m black jacket for reliable signal integrity and flexible connections.

Advantages

The cable supports high-bandwidth HBR2 data rates up to 21.6 Gbps and conforms to the DisplayPort 1.2 standard, allowing transmission of 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) resolution. Triple shielding reduces electromagnetic interference for improved noise immunity. Two DisplayPort connectors provide a direct, single-cable connection for video and audio between compatible devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers or laptops to 4K monitors and displays
• Home theater setups with DisplayPort-equipped sources and displays
• Office workstations and presentation systems requiring high-resolution output

Key specifications

• Standard: DisplayPort 1.2
• Maximum resolution: 4K@60Hz (4:4:4)
• Bandwidth: HBR2 up to 21.6 Gbps
• Length: 1.8 m
• Connectors: DisplayPort to DisplayPort
• Colour: Black
• Shielding: Triple shielded

How to use

Plug one DisplayPort connector into the source device (PC, laptop or media player) and the other into the DisplayPort input on the monitor or display. Ensure both devices support DisplayPort input/output and configure the display settings on the source device for the desired resolution and refresh rate. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and excessive strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance at 4K@60Hz, use with devices and displays that fully support DisplayPort 1.2 and HBR2. Avoid running the cable parallel to high-power electrical cables to reduce potential interference. Inspect connectors for debris before connection and avoid sharp bends to prolong cable life.
