DisplayPort HDMI cable Kramer Electronics C-DPM/HM-3

The Kramer C-DPM/HM is a male-to-male DisplayPort-to-HDMI cable designed to connect a dual-mode DisplayPort source directly to an HDMI monitor or display. With a length of 0.9 m, it supports high-definition video and audio transmission and is suitable for linking laptops, desktops and other DisplayPort devices to HDMI-enabled screens without an additional adapter.

Advantages

The male-to-male configuration removes the need for a separate adapter and an extra cable connection, simplifying the setup and reducing potential points of failure. The cable is built for reliable performance and provides a straightforward way to transmit HDMI signals from DP++ (dual-mode DisplayPort) sources to HDMI displays.

Suitable for

• Connecting a laptop with a dual-mode (DP++) DisplayPort output to an HDMI monitor or projector
• Linking a desktop PC to an HDMI display when the graphics output supports DP++
• Temporary AV setups in meeting rooms or classrooms requiring a short 0.9 m cable

Key specifications

• Brand: Kramer
• Model: C-DPM/HM (MPN: 97-0601003)
• EAN: 7291063057534
• Type: DisplayPort (male) to HDMI (male) cable
• Length: 0.9 m
• Compatibility: Requires a dual-mode (DP++) DisplayPort source that outputs HDMI signals

How to use

Confirm the source device supports dual-mode DisplayPort (DP++). Connect the DisplayPort male end to the source device and the HDMI male end to the HDMI input on the monitor, TV or projector. Select the appropriate HDMI input on the display and configure the source device’s display settings as required. No adapter or additional cables are needed for DP++ sources.

Recommendations

Use this cable only with DisplayPort sources that explicitly support DP++ (dual-mode). If the source does not support dual-mode DisplayPort, an active converter is required to obtain an HDMI signal.
