DVI-D Dual Link Cable Plug - Plug 1.50 m ACT AK3834

The ACT DVI-D Dual Link cable male - male 1.50 m AK3834 is a 1.5 metre video connection cable with DVI-D connectors on both ends, designed for reliable digital video transmission between compatible devices. It supports dual-link DVI signals for higher resolutions and stable frame rates, and its black jacket and robust connectors provide a standard, unobtrusive installation for desktop workstations, monitors and projectors.

Advantages

This cable offers support for dual-link DVI digital video, enabling higher resolution and improved signal integrity compared with single-link connections. The male-to-male connector arrangement ensures direct compatibility with DVI-D inputs on graphics cards, monitors and AV equipment. The 1.5 m length balances reach and cable management, while the durable cable jacket and solid connector housings increase longevity in regular use.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop graphics cards to DVI-D monitors
• Linking projectors to media players or PCs with DVI-D outputs
• Gaming setups that require stable digital video signals at high resolutions
• Professional workstations and CAD or design displays requiring precise image transmission

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1.5 m
• Connector type: DVI-D (male) on both ends
• Signal type: Dual-link digital video
• Colour: Black
• Usage: Video-only digital transmission (no analog pins)

How to use

Identify the DVI-D ports on both devices and align the male DVI-D connectors with the corresponding receptacles. Insert each connector straight into the port until it seats firmly; secure any thumbscrews if present to maintain a stable connection. Use the 1.5 m cable length to position display and source devices within a comfortable working distance while avoiding tight bends or kinks in the cable. When disconnecting, loosen the thumbscrews and pull the connector straight out to prevent strain on the port.

Recommendations

For optimal signal quality, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable, and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources. Use dual-link-capable devices and ports to achieve the highest supported resolutions. If longer runs or signal extension are required, consider active extenders or alternative interfacing solutions suited to the required distance.
