DVI-I Socket to DVI-D Plug Adapter ACT AP1001

The ACT Adapter DVI-I female to DVI-D male AP1001 provides a direct connection between devices using DVI 24+5-pin connectors. Designed to bridge a DVI-I source to a DVI-D display, this compact black adapter retains the 24+5-pin DVI form factor and is intended for video transmission where physical connector conversion is required.

Advantages

This adapter supports a straightforward mechanical and electrical conversion from a DVI-I female interface to a DVI-D male interface while keeping the familiar DVI 24+5-pin configuration on both ends. Its compact size and solid construction make it easy to install and position behind equipment or in tight spaces. The black finish provides a neutral appearance that integrates with most AV setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting a DVI-I output on a computer or source device to a DVI-D input on a monitor or display
• Temporary or permanent AV installations where connector gender conversion is required
• Home office and professional workstations using DVI-equipped displays

Key specifications

• Connector 1: DVI 24+5-pin (female)
• Connector 2: DVI 24+5-pin (male)
• Product colour: Black

How to use

Align the DVI-D male connector with the DVI-D input on the display and gently insert until the connector seats fully; if screws are present, tighten them by hand to secure the connection. Plug the DVI-I source cable into the adapter’s DVI-I female side, ensuring a firm and straight connection. After connections are made, power on the source and display and select the appropriate input on the monitor if needed. Avoid forcing connectors and inspect pins for damage before use.

Recommendations

Use the adapter in dry, ventilated environments and avoid excessive bending or stress on connected cables. Check compatibility between DVI-I and DVI-D devices before connecting, and handle the adapter by its body rather than by the cable ends to reduce strain on connectors.
