EFB Elektronik 691653GR.6 Adjustable Shelf

The EFB Elektronik 691653GR.6 adjustable shelf is designed for installation in standard 19" racks and cabinets. Constructed from durable steel with a grey finish, the shelf offers a 482.6 mm usable width and 350 mm depth to accommodate network devices, small servers, power supplies and other equipment that require stable horizontal support. The unit mounts to rack rails and provides a flat, ventilated-ready surface for organizing hardware while maintaining easy front access.

Advantages

This adjustable shelf provides robust load-bearing capacity due to its steel construction and rack-compatible mounting points. The grey finish resists wear and matches typical rack interiors. Its 482.6 mm width fits 19" rack spacing while the 350 mm depth gives sufficient clearance for many types of equipment. The shelf’s simple design allows quick installation and repositioning within the rack to adapt to changing layouts.

Suitable for

• Mounting non-rackmountable devices such as small UPS units, modems, routers and switches
• Storing tools, cables and accessories inside equipment racks
• Supporting lightweight servers, media players or external hard drives
• Creating temporary work surfaces for testing and maintenance tasks

Key specifications

• Material: steel
• Finish: grey
• Designed for: 19" rack installation
• Usable width: 482.6 mm
• Depth: 350 mm
• Mounting: adjustable within standard rack rail spacing

How to use

Position the shelf at the desired height inside the 19" rack and align the mounting holes with the rack rail holes. Secure the shelf using compatible rack screws or fasteners supplied by the cabinet or rack manufacturer. Place equipment centrally on the shelf to distribute weight evenly and avoid overhanging heavy items. When installing devices, ensure sufficient airflow around heat-generating equipment and leave access to front and rear panels for cabling and service.

Recommendations

Verify the load capacity of the rack and the shelf before placing heavy equipment. Use appropriate rack screws and, if needed, additional support brackets for heavier or vibrational loads. Keep cabling organized and avoid blocking ventilation paths to maintain equipment cooling.
