EFB Elektronik MK6001.50O Network Cable

The EFB Elektronik MK6001.50O is a 50 m Cat6a networking cable with S/FTP shielding designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications. It delivers data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and comes in a vivid orange colour. RJ-45 connectors with gold plating provide reliable contact and reduced corrosion. The moulded slim grommet simplifies insertion in confined spaces.

Advantages

The shielded S/FTP design minimises electromagnetic interference for stable high-speed transmission. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact reliability and durability. A 50 m length covers long runs without additional joins, and the slim moulded grommet makes connector handling easier in tight cable ducts or racks.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet installations
• Server rooms and data centres
• Office and home network backbones
• Long cable runs between switches and patch panels

Key specifications

• Cabling standard: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP
• Length: 50 m
• Maximum data rate: 10000 Mbit/s
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Connector plating: Gold
• Colour: Orange

How to use

Connect the RJ-45 plugs to compatible network ports on switches, routers or network interface cards. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and maintain the outer jacket integrity to preserve shielding effectiveness. Use cable management accessories to secure runs and reduce strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep cable runs within recommended bend radius, avoid proximity to high-power electrical cables, and ensure connectors are fully inserted and latched. Use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for backbone or high-throughput links where 10 Gigabit capability is required.
