Einhell TC-JS 80/1 Jigsaw

The Einhell TC-JS 80/1 jigsaw is a compact corded power tool with a 550 W motor and a maximum idle stroke rate of 3000 spm. It is designed for cutting wood, plastic and thin steel in workshops, garages and for home DIY tasks. The saw delivers a maximum cutting depth of 80 mm in wood, 20 mm in plastic and 10 mm in steel. The tool is lightweight (approx. 1.86 kg) and features a 20 mm stroke height and a soleplate that can be swiveled for bevel cuts up to 45°.

Advantages

The jigsaw offers a four-setting pendulum action for precise and fast cuts, a tool-free blade change system for quick blade replacement, and softgrip surfaces for comfortable handling. A dust extractor connection helps keep the work area clear, and the robust 550 W motor provides sufficient power for common workshop and DIY cutting tasks.

How to use

Secure the workpiece before starting and select the appropriate blade for the material. Set the pendulum-action level according to the required cutting speed and finish. Adjust the soleplate to the desired bevel angle if an angled cut is needed. Switch on the jigsaw and allow it to reach full speed before guiding it steadily along the cutting line. Use moderate feed pressure; let the blade do the cutting. After finishing, switch off power and wait for the blade to stop before setting the tool down or changing the blade.

Recommendations

For best results, use blades matched to the material (fine-tooth blades for steel, coarser blades for wood), wear appropriate eye and hearing protection, and connect a dust extractor or vacuum for cleaner working conditions.
