Twist drill bit KWB 511890

Spiral cutting drill bit KWB 511890 — set of three extra-long wood drills for beams with lengths of 250 mm, supplied in blister packaging. Made from CrV steel with a single-spiral geometry, centre point and two cutting wings for accurate, breakout-free holes in soft and hardwoods. The drills are chamfer ground and chemically blackened for industrial-quality performance and durability.

Advantages

The set contains three commonly used diameters (6, 8 and 10 mm) to cover typical beam-drilling tasks. Extra-long 250 mm length enables drilling deep through beams and timbers. CrV steel construction and precise single-spiral shaping provide wear resistance and stable drilling. Centre point and two cutting wings reduce splintering and deliver clean hole edges. Blister packaging keeps the bits organized and easy to access.

How to use

Mark the drilling position on the beam and secure the workpiece to prevent movement. Choose the required diameter (6, 8 or 10 mm) and install the bit in a compatible drill or drill press. Start drilling at low speed to engage the centre point, then increase speed as needed while applying steady pressure. Withdraw the bit periodically to clear chips when drilling deep holes. After use, clean the bits and store them in the blister pack to protect the cutting edges.
