Fischertechnik 536620 Marble Run & Balls (Set)

The Fischertechnik Toy marble run & balls (set) 536620 is a construction toy kit designed for children aged 7 and up that enables building dynamic marble tracks. The set contains a variety of interlocking components and marbles that can be combined to create different layouts, run sequences and moving elements. Designed with educational play in mind, the kit supports the development of spatial reasoning, hand-eye coordination and basic principles of physics through hands-on experimentation.

Advantages

The set is made from durable, impact-resistant plastic suitable for regular play and repeated assembly. Components connect securely to maintain stable track designs while still allowing easy disassembly and reconfiguration. Included marbles run smoothly through the tracks, helping children observe cause-and-effect relationships and experiment with speed, angles and routing. The kit is compact enough for home storage and flexible enough to expand or integrate with other compatible construction sets.

Suitable for

• Children aged 7 and older learning basic physics and mechanics
• STEM-focused play and classroom activities
• Developing fine motor skills and spatial reasoning
• Family play sessions and cooperative building projects

Key specifications

• Age recommendation: 7+
• Material: durable, impact-resistant plastic
• Includes multiple track elements and marbles for varied configurations
• Interlocking design for stable assembly and easy reconfiguration
• Portable set size suitable for home and classroom use

How to use

Follow the illustrated assembly guide included in the kit to start building a basic track layout. Begin by selecting a stable base and connecting track segments step by step, testing marbles on short runs before expanding the circuit. Encourage trial-and-error adjustments to alter slopes, turns and intersections so children can observe how changes affect marble speed and direction. Components can be detached and reused to create new designs or combined with additional compatible sets for larger constructions.

Recommendations

Suitable for supervised play for children under 8. Inspect small parts regularly for wear or damage and keep marbles and small loose pieces away from children younger than the recommended age to avoid choking hazards.
