Fischertechnik Advanced Universal Max construction toy model kit 571904 — mechanical model kit

Fischertechnik 571904 is a 375-piece building set designed for children aged 7 and above. The kit includes modular construction elements in black, grey and orange that allow assembly of mechanical models and creative constructions. The set supports hands-on exploration of basic technical principles and encourages development of manual dexterity, spatial reasoning and problem solving through guided and open-ended play. Components are compatible with other fischertechnik parts and suitable for individual use, group activity or classroom projects.

Advantages

The set provides a broad range of standardized parts and molded components that make assembly straightforward while offering design flexibility. Its color combination of black, grey and orange helps visually distinguish functional sections during construction. At 375 pieces, the kit offers enough parts to build multiple simple machines and vehicles, enabling repetitive practice of mechanical concepts and iterative improvements of models. The included pieces are durable and intended for repeated use in educational settings.

Suitable for

• Hands-on STEM learning and classroom exercises
• Individual creative play and model building
• Small-group projects and collaborative construction
• Introduction to basic mechanics and simple machines

Key specifications

• Recommended minimum age: 7 years
• Number of pieces: 375
• Primary colours: black, grey, orange
• Includes modular construction and molded parts for mechanical models
• Suitable for repeated assembly and disassembly

How to use

Select a model plan or create your own design and sort parts by type and colour to simplify the building process. Follow step-by-step instructions when available to assemble stable connections, test moving parts and adjust fits as needed. Use the kit for guided lessons by assigning small tasks—such as constructing a basic vehicle or a simple lever mechanism—or let children experiment freely to explore cause-and-effect relationships. After use, store components in separate containers to preserve organization and speed up future sessions.

Recommendations

Recommended for children aged 7 and older. Adult supervision is advised for younger users and during tasks that require fine motor precision or tool use. Combine this set with other fischertechnik modules to expand project complexity and extend learning opportunities.
