Gembird PP6A-LSZHCU-0.25M Network Cable

The Gembird PP6A-LSZHCU-0.25M is a 0.25 m Cat6a networking cable with S/FTP (dual shielded) construction and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. It is designed for high-speed data transmission in home and office networks and features a grey Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket and gold-plated contacts for improved signal reliability.

Advantages

Dual shielding (S/FTP) reduces electromagnetic interference and helps maintain stable data transfer rates. The LSZH jacket minimizes smoke and hazardous halogen emissions in case of fire, making the cable suitable for enclosed or public spaces. Gold-plated contacts provide corrosion resistance and reliable connector performance over time.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between devices (0.25 m length)
• Home and small office network setups
• Connections requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Product name: Gembird PP6A-LSZHCU-0.25M
• Cable type: Cat6a (S/FTP, dual shielded)
• Length: 0.25 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Jacket: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connectors into the network ports of the devices you want to link (for example, between a switch and a computer or patch panel). Ensure connectors are fully seated until you hear a click. Use the short 0.25 m length for tidy connections where devices are close together and to avoid excess cable slack.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable, and keep it away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as large transformers or heavy industrial machinery.
