Goobay 95385 Network Cable Black 20m Cat6 U/UTP

The Goobay Networking Cable 95385 (20 m, Cat6 U/UTP) is a flat black Ethernet cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. It features Cat6 specification wiring with unshielded U/UTP construction and RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts to ensure good conductivity and stable connections between network devices. The flat design and robust sheathing make the cable suitable for installation behind skirting boards, under carpets or wooden floors.

Advantages

This Goobay Cat6 cable provides stable, high-speed signal transmission thanks to high-quality inner conductors and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors. The flat profile allows discreet routing in tight spaces and simplifies installation under floor coverings or along walls. Durable outer sheathing increases mechanical protection while preserving flexibility for easy handling.

Suitable for

• Home and small office network connections
• Connecting routers, switches, modems and networked devices
• Routing behind skirting boards or under carpets and wooden floors

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your router, switch or modem and the other end to the network device you want to link. Route the flat cable along skirting boards or under carpets, avoiding tight bends and sharp kinks to maintain signal integrity. Ensure connectors are fully inserted into RJ-45 ports until they click for a secure contact.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines and do not exceed recommended bend radius. Use the flat form factor for concealed routing; inspect connectors periodically for damage and replace the cable if the sheathing or plugs are compromised.
