Hama 00027836 Strap Digital Camera Plastic Black

The Hama 00027836 strap is a compact carrying solution designed for digital cameras. Constructed from durable plastic with a black finish, the strap offers a simple and unobtrusive way to secure your camera while moving between shots. With a maximum length of 22 cm it provides a snug fit that keeps the camera close to the body, reducing swinging and helping to protect the equipment from accidental drops.

Advantages

The strap combines a hard-wearing plastic material with a discreet black design that suits a wide range of camera bodies and styles. Its short maximum length of 22 cm creates a stable hold for compact and mirrorless cameras, while the lightweight construction keeps added bulk to a minimum. The strap is easy to attach and maintain, and the smooth surface resists dirt and moisture, supporting prolonged everyday use.

Suitable for

• Compact digital cameras and small mirrorless models
• Situations requiring a low-profile carrying option, such as street or travel photography
• Photographers who prefer a short, secure strap for handheld shooting

Key specifications

• Material: plastic
• Colour: black
• Maximum length: 22 cm
• Design: short, compact carrying strap

How to use

Attach the strap to the camera’s strap lug or attachment point according to the camera manufacturer’s instructions. Ensure the connection is secure before lifting the camera. Adjust positioning so the camera rests comfortably against your body at the desired height. Regularly inspect the attachment points for wear and replace the strap if any damage or cracking in the plastic is observed.

Recommendations

Use this strap primarily with compact and lightweight cameras; avoid using it as the sole support for larger, heavier DSLR setups. For extended outdoor use or when exposed to rough conditions, check the strap and attachment points periodically and combine with additional protection such as a padded camera bag when not carrying the camera on the strap.
