Hama 00027837 Digital Camera Strap Nylon Black

The Hama 00027837 Nylon Camera Strap in Black is a compact carrying strap designed for digital cameras. Made from durable nylon, this 65 cm strap provides a reliable connection between the camera and the user while keeping the setup lightweight and unobtrusive. Its minimalist black finish suits a range of camera bodies and shooting styles, offering basic security and ease of transport for everyday photography.

Advantages

The strap combines wear-resistant nylon construction with a slim profile that reduces bulk on the camera. At 65 cm maximum length it offers a comfortable fit for most users and can be adjusted to suit shoulder or neck carry. The black color is low-profile and resists visible dirt, while the simple attachment points are compatible with standard camera strap lugs, providing straightforward installation and dependable hold.

Suitable for

• Compact and mirrorless cameras with standard strap lugs
• Entry-level and enthusiast digital cameras for everyday use
• Travel and street photography where a low-profile strap is preferred
• Photographers who need a lightweight spare or replacement strap

Key specifications

• Material: nylon
• Colour: black
• Maximum length: 65 cm
• Weight: lightweight design
• Attachment: standard strap lug connectors

How to use

Thread the strap through the camera's strap lugs following the manufacturer's recommended routing and secure any locking loops or buckles. Adjust the length to the desired carry position — around the neck or shoulder — ensuring the camera hangs at a comfortable height. Periodically check the attachment points and stitching for wear, and retighten any adjustment fittings before use to maintain a secure hold.

Recommendations

Use with cameras that have standard strap lugs; avoid carrying excessive additional weight on the strap. For long or heavy shooting sessions consider using a padded or broader strap for increased comfort. Inspect the nylon and connectors regularly and replace the strap if fraying or connector damage appears.
