The compact, black housing is designed for in-line connection without adding active signal conversion.

Advantages

How to use

Align the DVI connector with the DVI socket on the source device and gently insert until it seats. Connect an HDMI cable from the display to the HDMI side of the adapter. Ensure both devices are powered off or use stable hot-plug support if available; then power the devices and select the appropriate input on the display. Note that this adapter provides a passive physical connection—audio and digital rights management features depend on the source and display capabilities and may not be supported through passive conversion.

Recommendations

Use the adapter for video-only connections where a passive link between DVI and HDMI is suitable. For setups requiring audio transfer, active conversion, or support for advanced HDMI features, choose an appropriate active converter or cable designed for those functions. Avoid forcing connectors and store the adapter in a dry environment when not in use to maintain connector integrity.
