Helos 288391 HDMI Cable 1 m

The Helos 288391 HDMI Cable (1 m) is a one-meter HDMI Type A to Type A cable designed for connecting TVs, monitors, projectors and AV receivers. Its gold-plated contacts provide reliable electrical contact and improved resistance to corrosion, while the compact 1 m length is suitable for short runs behind entertainment centers or desktop setups. The cable supports 3D video formats and Audio Return Channel (ARC), enabling high-definition video transfer and two-way audio between compatible devices.

Advantages

The Helos 288391 combines gold-plated connectors and a standardized HDMI Type A interface to maintain signal integrity for high-definition content. Its 1 m length reduces cable clutter and signal degradation risks associated with longer runs. The black jacket offers a neutral appearance that integrates into most home and office environments. Support for 3D and ARC adds functional versatility for modern AV systems.

Suitable for

• Connecting a Blu-ray player, game console or set-top box to a TV or monitor
• Linking an AV receiver to a display with ARC-enabled audio return
• Short-distance connections in desktop PC or home theater setups
• Replacing a worn or lost standard HDMI cable

Key specifications

• Connector type: HDMI Type A to HDMI Type A (standard)
• Cable length: 1 m
• Contact finish: gold-plated contacts
• Supported features: 3D video, Audio Return Channel (ARC)
• Colour: black

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A connector to the HDMI output of the source device and the other HDMI Type A connector to the HDMI input of the display or receiver. Ensure connectors are fully inserted to establish a secure connection. If using ARC, enable the Audio Return Channel option in the TV and receiver settings according to manufacturer instructions. For best results, avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors and route it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

Use this 1 m HDMI cable for short, direct connections where a compact cable length is sufficient. Verify device compatibility for 3D and ARC features before relying on those functions, and store the cable coiled loosely to prevent stress on the conductors when not in use.
