Herlitz maX.file A4 Multi-Coloured D-Ring Binder

The Herlitz maX.file ring binder A4 Multicolour D-ring Storage is a durable A4 document binder designed for organized, everyday use in office, school, and home environments. Constructed from materials certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), the binder combines environmental responsibility with practical features. Its D-ring mechanism ensures pages lie flat and are easy to turn, while the multicolour design helps visually sort and identify different subjects or projects. The pack contains one binder suitable for standard A4 documents and punched paper.

Advantages

The D-ring design distributes paper evenly and reduces wear at the binder edge, improving long-term document preservation. FSC-certified materials provide assurance of sustainable sourcing. The multicolour finish supports visual organization without additional labels, and the binder’s robust construction offers resistance to daily handling and frequent file access. The spine and cover are sized to accommodate typical A4 document capacities while maintaining a slim profile when lightly filled.

Suitable for

• Organizing A4 school notes, handouts, and coursework
• Storing office reports, invoices, and reference documents
• Creating project files or portfolios with divided sections
• Home administration files such as manuals, receipts, and warranties

Key specifications

• Format: A4 document binder compatible with standard punched paper
• Ring type: D-ring mechanism for even page distribution
• Material: board and cover materials made from FSC-certified sources
• Design: multicolour exterior to aid quick visual sorting
• Pack contents: one individual binder per pack

How to use

Open the D-ring mechanism and align punched papers with the rings, then close the rings until they click to secure the sheets. Use the multicolour covers to assign categories or subjects and place divider tabs inside to separate sections. Store the binder upright on a shelf or flat in a drawer to keep documents protected. To add or remove pages, gently open the rings, adjust the paper stack, and reclose the rings to preserve ring alignment and prevent page damage.

Recommendations

For long-term document preservation, avoid overfilling the binder beyond the recommended capacity of the D-rings. Combine the binder with punched plastic sleeves for frequent-handling documents or for protection of important papers. Keep the binder away from direct heat and prolonged sunlight to maintain cover colour and material integrity.
