InLine 33390A FireWire Cable 0.40 m Grey

The InLine 33390A FireWire cable is a 0.40 m grey cable with a male-to-female connector configuration designed for reliable short-distance FireWire data connections. It is intended to link FireWire-equipped devices such as digital cameras, external hard drives and audio/video peripherals where a compact, durable cable is required. The grey finish blends with most equipment setups while the short length reduces excess cable clutter.

Advantages

This FireWire cable offers a compact form factor and a straightforward male/female connection for quick device linking. Its short 0.40 m length is suitable for close-proximity connections, minimizing signal attenuation and cable tangling. The cable is built to provide stable data transfer rates typical of FireWire interfaces and its neutral grey color is practical for professional and consumer installations.

How to use

Connect the male end of the FireWire cable to the FireWire port on the host device (for example a computer or hub) and plug the female end to the peripheral device (for example a camera or external drive) ensuring firm, but not forceful, seating of connectors. Use the cable for short-range data transfers and avoid tight bends or kinks near the connector ends. If your devices require specific port directions or adaptors, confirm compatibility before connection.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use the cable in short-distance setups where devices are close together to benefit from reduced interference and signal loss. Avoid exposing the cable to excessive heat, moisture or sharp edges. Inspect connectors periodically for debris and plug/unplug with straight alignment to prolong connector life.
