Keystone module CAT 6A Digitus DN-93606

The DIGITUS Keystone Module DN-93606 is an unshielded CAT 6A connector designed for reliable high-speed network links. Constructed from ABS with nickel/gold plated contacts, the module offers durable electrical contact and compact dimensions that fit standard keystone openings and wall plates. It complies with Category 6A / 10GBase-T Channel standards and ANSI/EIA/TIA 568C.2.1:2002 and ISO/IEC 11801:2002 specifications, making it suitable for structured cabling installations.

Advantages

The keystone module provides tool-free installation and a compact form factor that allows up to 24 modules to be mounted in a 483 mm (19") 1U panel. Nickel/gold plated contacts improve conductivity and corrosion resistance while the ABS housing ensures lightweight robustness. Compliance with CAT 6A and international cabling standards supports 10GBase-T performance and consistent link quality.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling in offices and data centers
• High-speed Ethernet up to 10GBase-T
• Installation into standard keystone wall plates and patch panels

How to use

Insert the keystone module into a compatible keystone opening in a wall plate or patch panel until it snaps into place. Terminate the network cable to the module following the color-coded wiring scheme specified for CAT 6A; ensure correct pair alignment and secure termination. After termination, test the link with appropriate network testers to verify continuity and performance up to 10GBase-T.

Recommendations

For best performance, use certified CAT 6A cabling and maintain proper cable management with controlled bend radii. Verify terminations with a qualified cable tester and avoid installing the module in environments with excessive electromagnetic interference, as the product is unshielded.
