KS Tools 151.4780 L-Shaped Hex Key Set

The L-shaped hex key set KS Tools 151.4780 contains ten precision-formed hex keys made from durable steel and presented in an easy-to-handle layout. Weighing approximately 301 g for the complete set, the tools are designed to offer reliable grip and torque when tightening or loosening hex fasteners. The compact L-shaped form provides a long arm for reach and torque and a short arm for confined space access, making the set suitable for a wide range of mechanical and assembly tasks.

Advantages

The set delivers consistent fit to standard hex sockets, reducing the risk of rounding fastener corners. Hardened steel construction improves wear resistance and extends service life. The L-shaped design offers dual leverage options — use the long arm for higher torque or the short arm for increased control in tight spaces. The compact combined weight and size make the set convenient to store in a toolbox or carry to a job site.

Suitable for

• Assembly and disassembly of machinery and equipment
• Maintenance and repair of bicycles, motorcycles, and automobiles
• Furniture assembly and household DIY projects
• Electrical and electronic enclosures with hex fasteners

Key specifications

• Number of keys: 10
• Material: hardened steel
• Form factor: L-shaped (long and short arm)
• Set weight: approx. 301 g
• Finish: corrosion-resistant treatment for extended durability

How to use

Select the hex key that fits snugly into the hex socket of the fastener. Insert the short arm into the fastener when working in restricted spaces or use the long arm to gain additional leverage for loosening or tightening. Apply steady pressure and turn smoothly to avoid stripping the bolt head. After use, wipe the tools clean and return them to their holder or toolbox to prevent loss and maintain organization.

Recommendations

For best results, match the hex key size precisely to the fastener and avoid excessive force if a fastener is seized; use penetrating lubricant or heat as appropriate before applying additional torque. Store the keys in a dry environment and periodically inspect for wear to ensure reliable engagement with fasteners.
