KWB 495904 sanding disc, 5 pcs.

Sanding Disc KWB 495904 (Ø 125 mm) is a set of five aluminium-oxide abrasive discs designed for use with random orbit sanders. The discs have a reinforced, fabric-backed phenolic resin backing and a stearate coating to reduce clogging, making them suitable for sanding hard and soft woods as well as painted surfaces and certain plastics.

Advantages

The aluminium oxide abrasive combines durability with consistent material removal, while the stearate coating reduces clogging and extends abrasive life when sanding resinous woods and paints. The reinforced backing provides stability and reliable contact with the sanding surface, and the punched design ensures compatibility with standard random orbit sanders.

How to use

Attach the sanding disc to a compatible random orbit sander using the punched pattern and ensure it is centered and secure before operation. Start sanding at low speed to check contact and then adjust speed and pressure according to the material and desired removal rate. Replace the disc when abrasive performance diminishes or the backing becomes damaged.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as dust mask and eye protection. Test on a small area first when working on painted or plastic surfaces to verify compatibility and avoid overheating; avoid excessive pressure to prolong disc life.
