Makita VC3012M vacuum cleaner

The Makita VC3012M dust extractor is a compact 30 L vacuum designed for both dry and wet cleaning. With 1,200 W input power and a PET filter, it removes fine dust and collects liquids efficiently. The container holds up to 23.5 L of dust or 19 L of water, while the overall dimensions (380 × 450 × 595 mm) and 10 kg weight make the unit easy to move and store on job sites or in workshops.

Advantages

The Makita VC3012M combines a moderate 1,200 W motor with a PET filter to provide reliable dust and liquid extraction. Its Class M filtration rating captures 99.9% of dust at occupational exposure limits greater than 0.1 mg/m³, making it suitable for many construction and workshop environments. The separate capacities for dust and water simplify switching between dry and wet tasks, and the compact footprint supports storage in tight spaces.

Suitable for

• Removal of wood dust from softwood and hardwood
• Cleaning of masonry and concrete dust containing silica
• Working with gypsum, china clay and mica
• General wet and dry workshop cleaning

Recommendations

Use a Class M filter when working with fine mineral dusts and wood dusts; for highly hazardous carcinogenic dusts or when exposure limits are lower than 0.1 mg/m³, consult safety guidance and use appropriate extraction equipment. Regularly inspect hoses and seals for wear and follow local regulations for dust disposal.
