Network cable Goobay 50895 50m Cat6 S/FTP

The Goobay 50895 Networking Cable is a 50 m Cat6 S/FTP cable designed for reliable, high-speed data transmission in home and business networks. It features shielded S/FTP construction and RJ-45 plugs with gold plating to help maintain signal integrity and reduce interference. The grey outer sheath provides a neutral appearance suitable for varied installation environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding and high-quality inner conductors ensure stable performance and lower crosstalk at high data rates. Precisely fitting RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability and signal quality. Robust cable sheathing increases durability and makes the cable suitable for typical installation conditions.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections (Cat6) for home networks
• Office and business network installations
• High-speed data transfer between switches, routers and network devices
• Structured cabling where reduced interference is required

How to use

Unwind the 50 m cable and route it along the planned path, avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Terminate or connect the RJ-45 plugs to compatible network devices such as switches, routers and wall sockets. Ensure connectors are fully inserted to achieve a stable link. For fixed installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or ties without compressing the sheath.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for installations requiring reduced electromagnetic interference and reliable Gigabit Ethernet performance. Avoid excessive bending radii and keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines to maintain optimal signal quality.
