Omnitronic 6000620N microphone windscreen set — 5 colours, replacement foam covers

Set of five Omnitronic microphone windshields in assorted colors designed as replacement foam covers for standard handheld microphones. These windshields reduce wind noise and plosive sounds while protecting the microphone grille from dust and moisture. The set provides color-coded options for quick identification or stage marking and is suitable for live performance, broadcasting, conferencing and mobile recording applications.

Advantages

The foam material offers effective attenuation of wind and breath noise without significantly affecting vocal clarity. Each windshield is shaped to fit common handheld microphone heads, providing a snug fit that stays in place during use. Using color variants allows fast microphone identification and simple visual organization for multi-microphone setups. The covers are lightweight and replaceable, extending the usable life of microphones by shielding the grille from everyday wear.

How to use

Slide a foam windshield over the microphone head until it seats evenly around the grille. Ensure the cover covers the entire grille without stretching excessively to maintain acoustic performance. For cleaning or replacement, remove the windshield by pulling it off gently, clean the microphone grille as needed, and fit a fresh cover. Use the different colors to label channels, performers or room positions according to your setup needs.

Recommendations

For outdoor use, combine the foam windshield with a more robust windscreen or a furry windshield when exposed to strong wind. Replace windshields that show significant wear, compression or contamination to maintain consistent audio quality and hygienic conditions.
