How to use

Mount the patch panel accessory into a standard 19-inch rack using appropriate rack screws and cage nuts for a secure fit. Route incoming and outgoing fiber cables through the panel’s cable entry points, taking care to maintain minimum bend radii for optical fibers. Secure fiber connectors and patch cords in the designated ports or adapter positions, and use the panel’s routing features to separate and support cables to prevent strain. Label connection points as required for easy identification during operation and maintenance.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, handle fiber cables gently and avoid tight bends. Use compatible fiber adapters and connectors, and follow industry best practices for fiber termination, testing, and documentation. Regularly inspect routing points and securements to maintain tidy, low-loss fiber connections.
