Power jigsaw DeWALT DW331K

The Power Jigsaw DeWALT DW331K is a corded reciprocating saw designed for cutting wood, aluminium and non-alloy steel. It is driven by a 701 W motor with a 26 mm stroke, a no-load speed up to 3,100 strokes per minute and a cutting depth suitable for wood, aluminium and steel as specified by the manufacturer. The tool accepts T-shank blades and is compatible with DEWALT flush-cutting blade DT2074 for cuts flush to an edge.

Advantages

The DW331K features a patented keyless blade-change system for quick blade replacement, a full-wave electronic speed control with feedback to maintain consistent blade speed under load, and a soft-start function for accurate cut initiation. A patented anti-vibration counterbalance mechanism and rubber grip reduce vibration for smoother operation. The saw includes a 4-position pendulum action to adjust cutting aggressiveness, a tool-free adjustable shoe with anti-scratch cover that bevels to 45° in both directions, a tapered blade roller to control blade deflection, and a switchable dust blower to keep the cut line clear. The modular component design simplifies servicing.

Suitable for

• Cutting wood (maximum depth per manufacturer specification)
• Cutting aluminium and other non-ferrous metals
• Cutting non-alloy steel within the tool's capacity
• Flush cuts when used with compatible flush-cutting blade DT2074
• Professional and DIY woodworking and general site cutting tasks

Key specifications

• Brand: DeWALT
• Model: DW331K (MPN: DW331K-QS, EAN: 5035048127766)
• Motor power: 701 W
• Stroke height: 26 mm
• No-load stroke rate: up to 3,100 spm
• Blade type: T-shank (keyless change)
• Pendulum action: 4 positions
• Bevel capacity: 0–45° left/right (adjustable shoe)

How to use

Install a compatible T-shank blade using the patented keyless change system, ensuring the blade is fully seated. Select the appropriate pendulum action setting for the material and desired cut aggressiveness. Adjust the shoe bevel to the required angle if making bevel cuts. Start the tool and allow the soft-start to stabilise before advancing the saw along the cut line. Use the variable speed control to match cutting speed to the material; the full-wave electronic control will help maintain consistent blade speed under load. Use the switchable dust blower to clear chips from the cut line for improved visibility.

Recommendations

For best results, use sharp T-shank blades appropriate for the material, clamp the workpiece securely, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment. When performing flush cuts, use the compatible DEWALT DT2074 flush-cutting blade. Service the tool according to the manufacturer's instructions to maintain performance.
