Renkforce RF-4212189 Keystone Module

The Renkforce RF-4212189 Keystone Module is a flat, metal-finished network coupling with an integrated RJ-45 connector designed for simple connection or extension of two Ethernet cables. Its compact dimensions (32.5 × 23 × 23 mm) and single-piece packaging make it suitable for installation in patch panels, wall plates or keystone frames where a reliable, shielded RJ-45 termination is required.

Advantages

The robust metal housing provides noise suppression shielding that reduces crosstalk and interference from nearby cables, helping to ensure stable data transmission. The module complies with RoHS and REACH standards, limiting harmful substances in materials and manufacturing. Its flat construction and standardized keystone form factor simplify mounting and integration into existing keystone-compatible outlets or panels.

Suitable for

• Extending or joining two Ethernet (network) cables
• Installation in keystone-compatible wall plates and patch panels
• Shielded network segments where reduced electromagnetic interference is needed

How to use

Insert the keystone module into a compatible keystone opening in a wall plate, patch panel or keystone frame until it snaps into place. Terminate the Ethernet cables into RJ-45 plugs or use pre-terminated cables and plug them directly into the module’s RJ-45 jack. Ensure correct wiring and secure connections before powering the network devices.

Recommendations

For best shielding performance, use with FTP/FTP- or STP-shielded Ethernet cables and ensure the keystone frame or plate provides proper grounding to maintain the continuity of the metal shielding.
