Advantages

The blade construction from chrome-vanadium-molybdenum steel and through-hardening provides durability and edge stability. Directly moulded insulation ensures consistent electrical safety up to 1,000 V AC. The SoftFinish® multi-component handle improves grip and comfort during use while roll-off protection reduces the risk of the tool rolling away when set down. The tool complies with DIN ISO 2380 and is manufactured according to IEC 60900:2012 standards.

How to use

Select the correct slotted tip size for the screw to avoid cam-out and damage. Use the insulated screwdriver to turn or hold screws while working on or near live electrical components only when necessary and within the specified 1,000 V AC rating. Apply controlled torque and maintain a firm grip on the SoftFinish® handle. After use, store the tool in a dry, clean place and inspect the insulation for damage before each use.

Recommendations

Inspect the insulation regularly for nicks, cuts or wear; do not use the tool if the insulation is damaged. Verify the working voltage and de-energise circuits where possible before starting electrical work. Follow relevant safety procedures and local regulations when working with live circuits.
