Wiha 302ESD Single Screwdriver

The Wiha 302ESD Single screwdriver is designed for precision work on electrostatically sensitive components. Made with a chrome-vanadium-molybdenum steel blade that is through-hardened and chrome-plated, it features a Wiha ChromTop® finish on the tip to ensure a precise fit. The screwdriver measures 236 mm in length and weighs 72 g, providing balanced handling and control for electronics and assembly tasks.

Advantages

The blade construction offers high wear resistance and stability, while the ChromTop® tip improves fit and prolongs contact life with fasteners. The ergonomic Wiha SoftFinish® multi-component handle includes roll-off protection and has a controlled surface resistance (10^6–10^9 ohms) to safely dissipate electrostatic charge. The overall design supports accurate, repeatable work in ESD-protected areas.

How to use

Select the correct screwdriver tip size for the fastener to ensure a secure fit provided by the ChromTop® finish. Grip the SoftFinish® handle comfortably and apply controlled torque; avoid excessive force that could damage components. Use the tool within ESD-protected workstations and follow standard ESD handling procedures to maintain component safety.

Recommendations

Store and use the screwdriver in an ESD-protected environment. Regularly inspect the tip for wear and replace the tool if the tip shape is compromised. Clean the handle and blade with non-conductive, ESD-safe cleaners and avoid exposing the tool to corrosive substances.
