TECHNISAT 17Z Amplifier Silver Model 0000/3269

TECHNISAT 17Z silver intermediate amplifier (model 0000/3269) is an inline signal amplifier designed to increase terrestrial and satellite signal levels between an antenna and a receiver. Built for installation in home and small commercial environments, the unit fits into existing coaxial cable runs to compensate for attenuation caused by long cables or passive splitters. The compact silver housing and straightforward connections make it compatible with common satellite and terrestrial reception setups that require moderate gain to stabilize reception.

Advantages

The intermediate amplifier provides consistent signal amplification to improve picture and sound stability without modifying the antenna or receiver. Its inline design keeps installation simple and minimally invasive, preserving the existing cable layout. The metal housing offers mechanical protection and aids heat dissipation, while the unit’s specifications are optimized for standard coaxial distribution used in residential and small professional installations.

Suitable for

• Homes with long coaxial cable runs where signal loss affects reception
• Small apartments or multi-room setups using passive splitters
• Small commercial premises requiring improved terrestrial or satellite signal stability
• Upgrades to existing antenna-to-receiver links without replacing cabling

Key specifications

• Function: inline intermediate amplifier for terrestrial and satellite signals
• Housing: compact metal enclosure in silver finish
• Connections: standard coaxial connector interface compatible with common F-type/SAT installations
• Application: designed to compensate cable attenuation and improve signal-to-noise ratio in distribution lines
• Mounting: suitable for inline insertion within existing coaxial cable runs; supports horizontal or vertical placement depending on installation

How to use

Install the amplifier between the antenna outlet and the receiver or between cable segments where loss occurs. Ensure connectors are clean and properly tightened to maintain impedance match. Powering method and any required supply should follow the receiver or external power injector instructions; confirm polarity and voltage compatibility before connecting power. After installation, check signal levels and reception quality at the receiver and adjust cable routing or additional amplification if necessary.

Recommendations

Place the amplifier as close as practical to the antenna feed point when compensating long cable runs, and avoid locations with high moisture or direct weather exposure. Use quality coaxial cables and properly rated splitters to maximize the amplifier’s effectiveness. If reception issues persist, measure signal levels to determine whether additional amplification or a different topology is required.
