Lightning USB charging and sync cable Goobay 72905

The Lightning USB Charging and Sync Cable Goobay 72905 is a 0.5 m cable designed for charging and data transfer between Lightning-equipped Apple devices and USB A hosts. The cable supports USB 2.0 data transmission and provides a maximum output current of 1 A. It has a 2.8 mm diameter, comes in white and is packaged in a polybag. The product complies with RoHS, CE and WEEE standards.

Advantages

The cable combines a Lightning connector for Apple devices with a USB A plug for connection to chargers, computers and other USB A ports. Its short 0.5 m length reduces cable clutter and keeps devices close to the power source while syncing or charging. USB 2.0 support enables reliable data transfer for syncing contacts, media and backups. Certification to RoHS, CE and WEEE indicates conformity with common safety and environmental requirements.

Suitable for

• Charging iPhone, iPad or iPod devices with Lightning connector from USB A chargers or power banks
• Syncing data between Apple devices and computers with USB A ports
• Use in car USB ports, desktop chargers or travel kits where a compact cable is required

• Connector 1: Lightning
• Connector 2: USB A
• USB version: USB 2.0
• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Diameter: 2.8 mm

How to use

Connect the Lightning end to a compatible Apple device and the USB A plug to a USB A charger, computer port or power bank. Ensure the host USB port can provide up to 1 A for charging. For data transfer, connect the cable between the device and a computer with an available USB A port and use the operating system or syncing software to manage files. Avoid sharp bends near the connectors and unplug by pulling the connector housing rather than the cable itself.

Recommendations

Use the cable for everyday charging and syncing tasks where a short, manageable cable is preferred. To maintain cable longevity, keep it dry, avoid excessive flexing, and store it loosely coiled when not in use. Match the cable with USB A chargers or ports that meet the device's charging requirements; higher-current fast chargers will be limited by the cable's 1 A output.
