Wiha 41627 Screwdriver Bits 5 Pieces

The Wiha 41627 screwdriver bit set contains five Pozidriv PZ1 bits, each 50 mm long with a 1/4" (4 mm) hexagonal shank. Made in Germany, these bits are designed to fit PZ1 screws and deliver precise engagement for assembly and repair tasks. The set uses Wiha's bit concept that selects bits by screw shape alone and includes features for extended life and easy identification.

Advantages

These Wiha bits feature a patented torsion zone that allows safe use with power tools and impact drivers while significantly extending service life compared to standard bits. A fluorescent blue coating makes bits easy to locate, including under UV light, reducing loss and replacement costs. The PZ1 bits are manufactured for consistent fit and durability in professional and DIY applications.

How to use

Insert a PZ1 bit into a compatible 1/4" bit holder, screwdriver handle, or power/impact driver. Engage the Pozidriv screw head and apply steady axial pressure while turning. For power or impact use, allow the driver to apply torque and rely on the torsion zone to absorb shock; avoid excessive lateral force to preserve bit geometry.

Recommendations

Use the fluorescent coating and, if available, a UV light to find misplaced bits quickly. Replace bits only when worn or damaged; the torsion zone extends lifespan but cannot prevent wear from improper use. Store bits in a dedicated holder to reduce loss and maintain readiness.
