Wiha 42128 Screwdriver Bits 5 Pieces

The Wiha 42128 screwdriver bit set contains five Torx T10 bits, each 49 mm long and designed to fit a 1/4" shank. The set combines universal screw compatibility with increased durability, featuring Wiha's TY multitalent geometry that works with both T-shaped and Y-shaped screws and a patented torsion zone that extends bit life for use with hand and power tools.

Advantages

The TY bit geometry simplifies bit selection by making the screw head shape the only deciding factor. The patented torsion zone enables use with impact screwdrivers and power tools while extending service life significantly compared to Wiha standard bits. Fluorescent coloured coating improves visibility and makes bits easier to locate, even under UV light.

How to use

Select the T10 bit and insert it into a compatible 1/4" bit holder or screwdriver. Engage the bit with the screw head, apply axial pressure and turn with the appropriate tool—hand screwdriver, power driver or impact driver. The torsion zone absorbs peak loads when using impact tools; still maintain correct alignment and avoid excessive side load to prevent wear.

Recommendations

Store bits by colour or in a labelled holder to reduce loss. Use the fluorescent coating and occasional UV inspection to locate misplaced bits. When using power or impact drivers, choose appropriate torque settings and ensure the bit is fully seated to maximize service life.
