Wire Stripping Pliers Cimco 120034 Grey

The Cimco 120034 cable stripper Grey is a handheld tool designed for precise removal of insulation from electrical cables. It accommodates cable diameters up to 1.5 cm and strips conductors with a maximum stripping capacity of 5.5 mm and a minimum length of 1.5 cm. The tool’s compact, ergonomic body in grey is intended to provide controlled handling during repetitive wire preparation tasks.

Advantages

The tool combines a robust construction with a simple adjustable mechanism for consistent stripping results. Its size and shape support accurate alignment of the conductor and insulation, reducing the risk of nicking the conductor. The grey finish is durable and resists visible wear, while the mechanism is suitable for a range of common cable diameters encountered in electrical installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Preparation of single and multi-core cables for electrical connections
• Installation and maintenance tasks in residential and commercial wiring
• Workshop and on-site cable assembly where controlled stripping length is required

Key specifications

• Maximum stripping capacity: 5.5 mm
• Minimum stripping length: 1.5 cm
• Acceptable cable diameter: up to 1.5 cm
• Handheld, manual operation
• Compact ergonomic grey housing for improved grip

How to use

Select a suitable cable section and adjust the tool to match the cable diameter where necessary. Insert the cable into the stripper so that the intended insulation length corresponds with the tool’s stop, then actuate the stripping action according to the tool’s mechanism to remove insulation cleanly. Inspect the conductor after stripping to ensure there are no nicks or damage and repeat as needed for additional cables.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment and work on de-energized circuits only. Verify the tool’s adjustment on a scrap piece of cable before processing important wiring, and store the tool in a dry place to maintain mechanism performance.
