Its rectangular shape and moderate thickness deliver stability on countertops and make it suitable for repeated use and routine cleaning.

Key specifications

• Material: polyethylene (non-porous plastic)
• Shape: rectangular
• Width: 270 mm
• Depth: 420 mm
• Height / Thickness: 15 mm

How to use

Place the cutting board on a flat, clean countertop before use. To stabilize the board, position it with the longer side parallel to your work area and ensure it sits on a dry surface. Use the board for chopping, slicing and dicing with appropriate knives, taking care to avoid prolonged, concentrated cutting in a single spot to reduce surface scoring. After each use, rinse off food debris and wash with warm soapy water or in a dishwasher if recommended by your kitchenware care practices. Dry thoroughly before storing to maintain hygiene.

Recommendations

For improved food-safety practices, consider using separate boards for raw meat and for ready-to-eat foods. Regularly inspect the surface for deep grooves; replace the board when excessive scoring can no longer be removed by cleaning. Store the board flat or upright in a dry place to prevent warping and to extend its service life.
