Gedore 2797097 hex key 6g

The Gedore 2797097 6g hex key is a compact, low-profile tool designed for use in confined or hard-to-reach spaces. Made from Gedore vanadium steel (59CrV4) and zinc-plated, it offers durability and corrosion resistance while keeping a lightweight form factor for precision applications.

Advantages

The double ball ends and short angled sides improve accessibility where standard hex keys cannot reach, allowing work around protrusions and enabling faster progress. Its low profile reduces the risk of finger injury when working on flat surfaces. Zinc plating adds surface protection while the vanadium steel construction ensures reliable strength and wear resistance.

How to use

Choose the correct hex size for the fastener and insert the ball end into the screw head at the required angle. The double ball ends allow engagement from off-axis positions to reach bolts behind protrusions. Apply steady torque while maintaining alignment; use the short angled side for low-clearance situations. After use, wipe clean and store in a tool set or holder to maintain condition.

Recommendations

Use the Gedore 2797097 hex key for light to moderate torque tasks; avoid applying excessive force that may damage the tool or fastener. Keep the tool dry and clean to preserve the zinc plating and inspect periodically for wear before use.
