METZ CONNECT 130861-0802KE patch panel accessory

The METZ CONNECT 130861-0802KE patch panel accessory is a wall-mounting component intended for structured cabling installations. Constructed from aluminum, steel and zinc, the accessory provides a compact mounting solution with overall dimensions of 163.3 mm width, 110 mm depth and 43.6 mm height. The unit is halogen-free and manufactured to meet REACH and RoHS environmental and safety requirements, making it suitable for professional network infrastructure environments where material compliance is required.

Advantages

This wall-mount accessory combines durable materials—aluminum, steel and zinc—to deliver corrosion resistance and mechanical stability in indoor installations. Its compact footprint reduces space usage on walls while providing a stable platform for patch panel mounting. Compliance with REACH and RoHS standards and the halogen-free construction help minimize environmental and health risks during installation and operation.

Suitable for

• Wall-mounted structured cabling racks and small network enclosures
• Telecommunication closets and server rooms with limited wall space
• Office and industrial environments requiring REACH/RoHS-compliant components

Key specifications

• Material: aluminum, steel, zinc
• Overall dimensions (W × D × H): 163.3 mm × 110 mm × 43.6 mm
• Package dimensions: 135 mm × 190 mm × 55 mm
• Halogen-free construction
• Compliance: REACH and RoHS

How to use

Install the accessory by fixing it to a suitable wall surface using appropriate fasteners for the wall material and expected load. Position the patch panel on the mounting surface and secure it according to the panel manufacturer's attachment points. Ensure correct alignment and that the mounted assembly is level. Follow standard safety practices, isolate power where required, and verify that cable routing does not place mechanical strain on connectors or the accessory.

Recommendations

Use corrosion-resistant fasteners and verify wall substrate strength before installation. Keep cable bend radii within recommended limits and avoid overloading the accessory beyond the patch panel and cabling weight it supports. Regularly inspect mounted assemblies for secure fittings and signs of wear in environments with high humidity or dust.
