Advantages

This accessory offers space-efficient cable routing within a standard 1U height, helping to maintain a neat front and rear appearance of the rack. The grey finish provides a neutral, professional look that integrates with common rack equipment. With dimensions optimized for compact installations, it reduces cable congestion and supports consistent cable paths to patch panels and network devices.

How to use

Mount the accessory into a standard 19-inch rack occupying a single U of vertical space. Position the unit where it provides the most effective guidance for cables between patch panels and active equipment, taking advantage of its shallow depth where rear clearance is restricted. Secure cables to the accessory as needed using appropriate ties or straps to prevent movement and to maintain serviceability.

Recommendations

For best results, combine this 1U cable management accessory with corresponding patch panels and labeling to maintain clear cable identification. Avoid overfilling the channel to prevent excessive bend radius or strain on terminations. Regularly inspect cable routing to ensure ties remain secure and cables are not impinging on ventilation paths.
