Cable Connector Preisner FST43 Silver

The Wire connector Preisner FST43 Silver by Televes is a single, durable metal connector designed to join electrical wires with a secure mechanical and conductive interface. Finished in silver, the connector has an inner diameter of 4.3 mm and is intended for a range of wiring tasks where a compact, robust metallic splice is required. Supplied individually, it is suitable for use in installations that require reliable continuity and low contact resistance.

Advantages

The metal construction provides mechanical strength and long-term durability while the silver surface finish improves contact conductivity and corrosion resistance. The 4.3 mm inner diameter accommodates a common range of conductor sizes and ensures a tight fit that minimizes movement and contact degradation. Compact and single-piece delivery simplifies inventory management for small repairs or additions to an existing installation.

How to use

Prepare the conductors by stripping insulation to the recommended length for the connector and ensuring conductor ends are clean and free of oxidation. Insert the conductor(s) into the connector until properly seated, then apply the appropriate crimping or compression tool according to the connector size and material. Verify mechanical security and electrical continuity after installation. If used in grounding or bonding applications, ensure the connector is correctly positioned to maintain low-resistance contact to the mating surfaces.

Recommendations

Choose a compatible crimping or compression tool designed for small metal connectors and verify that conductor sizes match the 4.3 mm inner diameter to achieve reliable mechanical and electrical performance. Avoid use in high-corrosion or high-moisture environments unless additional sealing or protection is applied.
